You will never be charged for work you didn't agree to. That's not just our policy; it's a professional obligation.
Before any paid work begins, you receive a written statement of services and fees. This is a requirement of the Code of Conduct for registered migration agents, and it protects you. It sets out:
If your matter changes scope — for example, the Department requests something unexpected — we discuss it with you and update the agreement before doing additional paid work.
Professional fees reflect the complexity of your matter: the visa type, your circumstances and history, the volume of evidence, and whether there are complications such as previous refusals. That's why we quote after a consultation rather than publishing one-size-fits-all prices that wouldn't be honest.
The initial consultation is a paid, standalone service: a structured assessment of your circumstances and options, in English or Spanish, with honest advice about your prospects — including, where that's the truthful answer, advice not to proceed. The consultation fee is $100 + GST AUD and includes a written report with my recommendations for your case.
Visa application charges are set by the Australian Government and paid to the Department of Home Affairs. They apply whether or not you use an agent and are not refundable if a visa is refused. We always itemise these separately so you can see exactly where your money goes.
